I absolutely love this sound machine/aroma diffuser! The sounds are actually soothing, unlike some other cheaper models I've tried in the past. The rain actually sounds like rain! The aromatherapy diffuser is a nice touch, and the night light with multiple colors is great without being distracting. This has become an essential part of our nighttime routine and has improved my sleep considerably- highly recommend for anyone who struggles with sleep or just wants a peaceful space!

This is a very nice sound machine. It's larger than it looks in the photograph on Dropy, and has substantial weight. It's very well made. The DreamTech is black and non-reflective, so no reflecting light or moving shadows to disturb sleep or relaxation. The light function isn't garish or too bright, can be adjusted in multiple ways, and can be off.Sound-wise, the DreamTech is nice, although not the quality of $$$$$ stereo speakers or live outdoors/concert. Absolutely more than good enough sound quality for its intended use. The DreamTech doesn't sound cheap, tinny, whiny, echoey, or staticky, but it is digital (as opposed to analog). The rounded speaker helps with the sound quality, and both the shape and the angle at which the speaker is placed in the DreamTech help prevent the flat-wave-screaming-right-at-the-user effect that can happen with a flat speaker pointed directly at the user, and also prevents the I-can't-hear-the-sound-because-waves-going-straight up effect that can happen with a flat speaker pointed straight up. This design also allows for some additional adjustment of sound by turning the DreamTech to change the direction the speaker is pointed, depending on the acoustics and furnishings of the room, and preferences of the user.There's a good variety of pre-installed sounds (53) on its internal SDcard, plus a bluetooth function to allow use of other sounds. The DreamTech doesn't actually generate the sounds, it plays them, so no vibration. There's an included list of sounds, which are grouped by type, so it's easy to find and select the desired sound.All of the controls are well-marked and easy-to-operate, and the instruction manual (easy-to-understand) explains how to set up, access, and use the various functions.The end of the power cord the goes into the DreamTech has a 90 degree angle, and the plug fits into the female receptacle on the inside a recessed area, so it can't be accidentally pulled out. With the DreamTech up-side down, it's easiest to insert the power plug into the receptacle with the cord up and then rotate the plug to lay the cord flat. The little flat foot pads on the bottom elevate the DreamTech so it doesn't put pressure on the cord, prevent scratching of furniture, appear at least somewhat skid-resistant, and allow airflow underneath so the DreamTech doesn't get warm or cause anything under it to get warm.I haven't noticed any objectionable chemical smells during operation or while unpacking. The DreamTech was extremely well-packaged in nice, solid, styrofoam? that doesn't crumble or smell bad. The packing had the feel of anti-static, but not pink or labeled as such, so I don't know if that is the case or not. The cardboard box is light duty, but properly sized for the cushioning material, and good enough quality to be used again with the (very good quality) cushioning packaging if the user takes care unpackaging when new, in case there is a future need to pack the DreamTech for moving.I like that there are two options, which are made for and can be added to the DreamTech: an essential oil diffuser and a Schumann wave generator. I also bought the Schmann Wave Generator (separate 5-star review).

This is a neat little product. You have the option to put the scent in and purchase different cents which I did not do and it has a magnitude of different soothing sounds. It just allows you so many choices and the material that the product is made is extremely sleek and a nice design works very well and I am very pleased with it

I ordered this for work. I work at a busy Medspa and was intrigued by the diffuser, sound machine, Schumann resonance combo and needed total relaxation for my patients in treatment. I put it in my 17 year old son's room for a few days before taking it to the office. The Schumann resonance worked very quickly for him. He slept very well the first night then the second night even better. He uses the diffuser and the rain sound. He loves it! He never slept so well. His room is so relaxing. I guess I'll be purchasing another one, since I do have to have one at my office for sound machine, diffuser and the Schumann resonance for patient relaxation. But I hate to take it away from my son so work will have to wait till the new machine comes in. I never write reviews on Dropy but I feel like every teen mom or even moms in general needed to hear about this device. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Maybe I'll but myself one eventually. I bought it for my daughter's room, and she loved the sounds, the light, and especially me. In less than 20 minutes, my daughter relaxed and fell deeply asleep. It's been the best gift because she no longer has to struggle to sleep. It's so easy to use that she just presses the buttons and that's it.
