Breathe Right Original Tan Nasal Strips For Nasal Congestion Relief Small/Medium 30 Strips Pack Of 2

I can not live without these, I have an extremely deviated septum and can not breathe when laying on my left side this seems like it is getting worse with age. I have been using these for 15 years I have tried other brands and always came back to these. I do not like the clear ones they don't stay on especially if you have night sweats and or oily skin. I like the tan and they are impossible to find tan small / medium anywhere locally not to mention if you do find them they are more expensive. I have these on my subscribe and save and they just show up at my door, before that I would run out of them and then couldn't find the right ones and it was aggravating. These tan ones really stick as long as your nose is clean of any moisturizer or body oil, and they can handle menopausal night sweats, just be gentle about removing them. I woke up late on morning and just ripped the thing off my nose trying to hurry and I removed a little piece of skin. That's only happened once in all the years but I remove them slowly. They tend to leave a little glue behind on your nose but a little facial toner easily removes it and that's better than waking up by not being able to breathe.I have super picky skin tape, bandaids, or any type of adhesives on my skin makes me welt and itch for days, these do not do that thank God I don't know what else I would do except have corrective surgery.(which I'm avoiding for as long as possible)I have tried almost every store brand Walgreens, Cvs, Target, etc etc etc but none of them work for like these. A lot are one size fits most but I'm not most I am 4"11 and have a relatively small nose the one size fits all attach more on my face than my nose. I have yet to find anything that can compete with these.

If you are a "nose breather" and have nasal passages that develop restricted air flow when you lay down, or perhaps you have a deviated septum, or both, you will almost certainly find Breathe Right Nasal Strips to be of great help at improving your sleep--and possibly reducing your snoring.The strip attaches to your nose using a mild but effective adhesive, and two plastic "springs" want to straighten out, lifting the outside of the nose just enough to provide clear air passages.Learning to install the strip to your best advantage can be a trial and error exercise. The instructions show one position to install the strip, but it isn't necessarily the best for each person. If your nose is long, the position shown might not lift at the best spot, making you think these won't work for you.There are two lengths of strips, one marked "small/medium" and one marked "large". Most folks need the small/medium. If the strip comes down onto your face, use the smaller strip. The strips also come in a clear version and a "scratch and sniff" version with menthol. They now have a new "super" version that is much wider, covering more of the nose with 3 springs, that makes it much easier to place the strip effectively.If you feel the outside of your nose, squeezing lightly, you will note there is a cartilage ridge that supports the center of your nose from top to bottom. There are also two projections of harder cartilage that support the sides of the nose up near your face. Most folks can't lift the hard cartilage away from the center ridge, but just below the hard side cartilage, there is soft flesh that the Breathe Right strip will easily lift. I find that I need to place the strip just below the hard cartilage to get the most effect from the strip.I don't care what they look like when I wear them, and I have no intention to wake up to scratch the menthol to activate it, so I stick with the small/medium tan version.Something you might notice is that when you first lay down, your nose will want to "close up" even when wearing the strip. This is because you get the blood that was "pooling" in your legs while standing to equalize into the rest of the body when you lay down, swelling the nasal membranes. Generally this effect will go away in a few minutes as your blood vessels and heart adjust. Raising the head of your bed 6 or 8 inches can also minimize this effect.A con for these strips is that dry and cold weather will cause your skin to thin and get dry. When this happens you must be very careful when you remove the strip in the morning. Removing it in a hot shower with soap usually eases removal. If you are not careful, you will remove a small area of the epidermis on the top of your nose, and possibly on your cheek if the strip is too long. A tiny amount of lotion (apply with a Q-tip) on the top of your nose before installing the strip will prevent the problem.This leads into one more item, cleaning your nose before installing the strip. Folks are different, but many folks have oily or waxy skin on the sides of their nose. Excessive oil, wax, lotion, etc. will prevent the strip from sticking properly. Wash and dry your face before installing the strip. If your nose is still too oily or waxy, and this happens certain times of the year, use a little alcohol or Sea Breeze to wipe only the sides of your nose before installation.Amazingly, the strip will generally keep sticking even if you exercise and sweat a lot, but it does make it easier to remove the strip, so if you exercise first thing in the morning, keep the strip on until after you finish your exercise regimen.So what about snoring? If you are a nose-breather, using Breathe Right nasal Strips will reduce how much you open your mouth to breathe, and that will reduce snoring. It will also prevent the vibration in your nose that causes some snoring. It will not reduce the snoring that emanates from your throat when your tongue falls and the sides of your throat vibrate when you breathe through your mouth. Breathe Right has made two products that help with throat snoring. One is Breathe Right Throat Spray and the other is Breathe Right Throat Strips. The spray has been remarkably effective for me, while the strips, if placed far enough back on the tongue (hard for me to do) are also quite effective. What the spray does is coat your throat with some pleasant oils that lubricate the flesh and keep it taught. Most amazing is that it has eliminated my sore throats. Unfortunately, Breathe Right has been bought by a large company and it appears that they are only going to continue making the strips. C'est la vie.Oh, and buying this product on the Dropy subscription plan is smart and easy!

Breathe Right nasal strips are the best non-drug, non-prescription product out on the market for providing opening of the nasal passageways allowing greater intake of air flow due to the normal closure of the mucous membranes during sleep. Even if you do not have difficulty breathing during sleep, Breathe Right comfortably creates a greater opening of the nasal passages than is otherwise possible without it. I would recommend Breathe Right to anyone who has no breathing difficulty through anyone who has mild sleep apnea. Severe sleep apnea requires a CPAP device or a corrective medical procedure. I prefer the tan to the clear [the clear does not have enough adhesive to last all night]. Small/Med will fit most people's nose. Med/Large is only needed if you have a big nose.

2021 EDIT: Buy these elsewhere, they are price gouging here. Look at how much you're paying per box!These things are lifesavers! I have used these for years every night and it's the only way I can breathe well at night. I panic if I don't have one because I know I'll be breathing out of my mouth all night. Very safe and effective with no negative effects besides sometimes getting some small dots of glue residue on your nose the next morning but it comes right off with water.I use the Original Tan Small/Medium. I used to do the Clear for Sensitive Skin but I actually found those ones irritated my skin more than the Originals (which don't irritate at all)! I always stock up on these. You could say I'm addicted to them, but they are like a necessary medication. But no drugs, just a small bendy piece of plastic ;DHighly recommend them if you don't breathe well when sleeping at night.

I use these strips every single night. If I even forget them I'm a disaster the next day! They really help open up the nose and get a good night's sleep. My only issue with them is that the ends are a bit pointy, and once in a while it will be itchy under the strip, but if I pull it off it doesn't go back on. I love these strips, and I may switch to the lavender scented one. I have learned to bend it backward a little to create a crease, which helps me put it in the right spot. I'll even wear it during the day sometimes, like in the attached picture, if m suffering from really bad allergies.
