BulkSupplements Essential Amino Acids Powder Unflavored Gluten Free Supplement 10 Grams Per Serving 250 Grams

Yes, it tastes pretty terrible. But it's an excellent quality supplement for a low price, being bitter as hell is a tradeoff you have to make for the value. I mix it with lemonade or strong coffee and it's not too bad. Easy to mix and dissolves completely and easily. Works exactly the way it's supposed to.

Solid. It's unflavored but does have an extremely bad flavor. Don't mix with water it's undrinkable find a strong flavored juice (like cranberry) to make it drinkable.

I love how people expect unflavored powders to not taste like anything. Unflavored just means no extra additives Yes this stuff taste awful but its pure EAA it is 9 amino ACIDS , key word, its going to have a naturally bitter taste like many many unflavored supps do. Try ALA in powder form and this stuff is easy comparing to the two. Just mix it in OJ and your good to go. Oj is the goat at masking flavors. Baking soda may also neutralize the acid taste, idk it works with other ones like ALA and L-Carnitine. It should do something here. Listen you are trading the taste for the value here by not buying any extra additives or paying for processing that makes it taste like coolaid. Fix the taste on your own IT IS NOT THE SELLERS FAULT you are uneducated. I have a who cabinet full of bulksupplements products and I havent been disappointed yet. this is best taken after working out IMHO. Theres a that window that we want protein but its not actually protein we need then its amino acids we have protein in our bodies waiting to be used so long as we eat enough. Drinking aminos directly after or during the 2nd half doubles the amount of protein synthesis that happens. EAAs in this form hit the bloodstream within minutes of consumption they dont need to digest like a shake would to get aminos the longer way. Then drink your shake 30mins to 2hours after the workout. This can be used as an appetite suppression drink as well. I mean, Eaas function in everything and when you take it is as important as taken it. I prefer after workouts for hypertrophy, In between meals, in the morning for energy, Split up over the day. All with various goals in mind. Do your research.

I am in my 70's, and my son suggested a couple of years ago that I take essential amino acids to improve my protein intake. I have been taking another brand, but now they are adding a bunch of other things. I only want the amino acids! So I tried this from Bulk Supplements, since I had purchased other powdered supplements from them before, and they sell high quality products. Amino acids aren't the best tasting things, but the essential amino acids aren't really nasty like some of the non-essential amino acids. I decided to mix one compressed tablespoon of the Bulk Supplements EAAs in 14 oz. of water with 5 ice cubes, and for flavoring I used freeze dried packets of lemon, lime, or grapefruit, with 2 tiny scoops of stevia; then shake that up and drink it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, at least 20-30 minutes before eating anything else containing protein. I don't actually feel hungry until about 11:30 am or later. When I first tried these EAAs by Bulk Supplements, I took out the scientific scale our grandson used for his science project, and weighed the powder. It actually came to 10 grams for a tablespoon and 1 teaspoon (1-1/3 tbsp), exactly as stated on the bag. I'm too lazy to use two measuring spoons, so I use one tablespoon and get slightly less. Taking these Bulk Supplements EAAs gives me more energy and strength for daily tasks and for my exercise routines. I love these, and I immediately like these better than what I was taking before. I highly recommend these Bulk Supplements EAAs.UPDATE: Now I am using 1 TB Bulk Supplements EAAs, 2 scoops (1/32 of tsp.) Stevia, and 2 TB Silicia Organic Lime juice, shaken with 14 oz of water and 5 ice cubes. I do this when I wake up, and then again before going to bed. I am figuring 33 gr of protein per tablespoon, based on comparing it with vegetarian protein.

Great EAA's & value. Yeah it doesn't taste or smell great but they're EAA's what do people expect? Lol of course EAA's don't taste good. The only way you're gonna get EAA's that don't have that are ones with extra junk added like artificial sweeteners. I just take it with my protein shake at the same time which covers the bad taste a little. But note that yeah, on its own, super gross haha. Still very worth it to me.Edit: I had one batch that smelled more than usual so I left the bag open for about a day & the stronger scent went away. That can happen to EAA's if exposed to heat for too long. Don't expect it to get rid of a regular level of smell that comes from EAA's though, EAA's that don't have artificial sweeteners & stuff are gonna naturally smell anyway. I got EAA's from Now Foods previously & they have the a similar taste & smell as Bulk Supplements. I've stuck with Bulk Supplements for ~2 years now on my EAA's due to price & the COA I requested on one batch showed a good leucine profile with 3g leucine per serving.
