I normally used Biore and the like of pore strips for my nose. It seemed that that was the standard for pore strips and that the drying to your skin and then the peeling/ripping it off your nose that caused your eyes to water from the pain was the only way to effectively clean your nose pores.I was ecstatic but also skeptical to see this as an alternative, until I tried it and it involved no pain. The 2 step nose patches are great just for the fact that it does not rip or tear your skin the way the normal pore patches do. This works with your skin instead against it. The process is even better if you steam or warm your pores in advance of using this 2 step patch pore strip system.Wash your face like normal, then steam or warm your nose area (or wherever you are going to use these strips) and then place the step 1 (green package) on your dry nose. It sticks ok but you need to be diligent to really shape it to your nooks and crannies around your nose area. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. When you remove the patch, it will look as if your sebum is just popping up and waiting to be cleaned out of your pores and it is so easy. They include individually wrapped 2 sided cotton swab but 1 end has the blackhead remover on it for the more stubborn pores. The majority of my pores were easily cleaned with the swab and it was amazing how much sebum came out of the pores with ease. No more watery eyes from the pain! Wash your face with warm water and then apply the step 2 (lavender) nose patch. This one is 2 sided so pay attention to apply the smooth side on your nose (not the rough gauze side). Leave this patch on for 10-20 minutes and then remove it. This patch is a lot harder to get it to stay in place and I wish I had a bit of adhesive because it would stick well to the front of my nose and I had to sort of hold that portion in place or else it kept lifting off. After it was time, use the gauze side to clean the remaining pores and you're done.This was an extra step but aside from wishing it had better adhesive on the step 2 patches--I will not be going back to Biore strips. This is a painless and efficient way to clean your nose pores and keep the sebum at a minimum. I was pleasantly surprised and will now be incorporating these into my skincare routine as needed.

I think these are great alternative to the harsh nose patches that dry on your nose and dry into a hard shell for removal. These patches are much more gentle. While it does leave my skin looking and feeling great, I didn't notice a huge difference in one useage. Now, with my third attempt in 2 weeks I have noticed some lightening and cleanliness with how my pores look. It may be from using this regularly. Overall, I think it is worth a try as a gentle method to cleaning the skin on your nose.

So keep that in mind.I used this on my chin where I have filaments and blackheads.Step 1 left me with a lot of little filaments sticking out further or kind of removing themselves from my pores. There were plenty left that I used the included black extractor stick on. I also had some black heads and they came out easily.Step 2 was a nice cooling soothing strip which made my somewhat irritated looking skin back to normal again.These strips work well. 24 hours later and my chin is still super smooth feeling. You have to do some amount of work to get the gunked up pores cleared out. These are not like the sticky adhesive pore strips. These are wetted with product strips.Side note. I have learned a lot about my skin and how blackheads work over the years and... these are to purge your pores of gunk. They will not FIX future blockages from happening. For that you need leave on treatments like salicylic acid or etc.

My boyfriend and I both tested this pore dissolving kit. It isn't sticky and instead of pulling sebum out of pores by force, the oils in the first patch loosen and dissolve the sebum. I do wish the patches had just a little adhesive because they wouldn't stay on our noses. I recommend planning to lie down for 10-15 minutes while you have these patches on, because they slide off easily. The first half did what it promised, and I could see the loosened sebum coming out of my pores. It was easy to get rid of with an extractor tool. The second patch was soothing, and stayed on a little better than the first. It was a gentle alternative to the regular pore strips, but a little more time consuming and inconvenient to use.

TECA, Liposome is quite gentle but effective - it genuinely cleans the gunk off your nose! It's a 2-part system and the instructions are NOT in English on the individual packets, so remember to save the box if you want to check on the details (i.e., which side of the strips to use). There's no stinging, harsh stripping action, just gentle dissolution of the grime and oils. The first strip is a little stiffer than the second, and slightly harder to keep on (it doesn't adhere perfectly, so I keep pushing it down). During this stage I wouldn't recommend walking around - rather you need to stay put or even lying down to keep the strip in place (even if it doesn't actually pop off, it feels like it might). The second strip is softer and stays in place better. Neither strip is irritating to my fairly sensitive skin, and the nose is squeaky clean, noticeably oil-free for a while (I use them at night and I can still feel the difference in the morning). There's no scent and the while the 30-ish recommended minutes is a long time, it works well enough to be worth it when your nose is feeling grody.
