So I have TINY ears. Smaller then my 3 year olds.. When I was 12 my friend told me something was in my ear and to keep digging deeper.. well scratched my eardrum and I was in excruciating pain. Doctors kept saying my ears were too small to see.. even the ear nose and throat specialist couldn't. (This was 2001 before cameras).. But it was awful so I've been traumatized about my ears ever since. Barely can wipe the outside of my canal. Well for years I've been feeling pressure when I have a pillow at angle laying on my side. I feel it clog and get tender.. Recently I got my ears clogged up with wax and no luck with q tips (definitely not good for small ears and it impacted my wax while taking little bits it did more damage to impact the wax and clog my ears). So I got a water flushing device from Dropy which helped and natural oil to clean it. It expanded and eases but also leaves you wondering if it just got worse..? Obviously we all go through the panic cycles when dealing with our ears. So as I got comfortable with the water flusher, it has 3 levels of strength, I notice rotating the strength was the trick. Little bits would come out but still clogged. Messing with my sleep, more pressure in my jaw (from clenching), wisdom teeth removal areas and sinuses (this has to be helpful for all those things I bet!). So I got this stuff which was super bubbly and I did 10 drops + 30 min on the dot but I didn't allow the 10 min to rotate and lay and drain.. so I had some more chunks come out with the flushing but still clogged. So hours later before bed I did another, waited 40 min, rotated to drain it in a towel for 10 min and I felt it ease and move much more smoothly. Release of pressure. So I see why that's necessary before you straight flush. Then I flushed and a ton came out in the cup. I read some people flush for like 10 min.. so I wasn't doing that at first, I was only doing 1-3 flushes, but now I did 10-15 min and a lot came out. Sometimes it would come out clear and then I do another flush or 2 and then more would come out. I ordered another natural oil spray I used before Debrox called Naveh Pharma too I used in between and I felt it loosen and release pressure a lot. So this morning, my 3rd use of debrox but 4th day of clogged ear, I did a 40 min sit with debrox in, flipped and drained for 5 min, did the flush with my auto electric one, it required 3 flushes and using all 3 strengths made a difference! It allllll came out. A huge ball not just huge flakes. I've never heard this good! I didn't realize my house has an echo !! Haha. And then my "good" ear, I realized needs this too as it's half the hearing my now, healed right ear has. So sitting here with Debrox in my left ear to do the same. I bet this will improve my energy levels, detox, skin, lymphatic system, sleep, teeth, etc. I'm so excited. There's definitely a high you get from accomplishing this and it didn't hurt at all. Tender from the build up clogging but not sharp or dull pain higher than a 2/3. The water process went from really stressful to comforting as I'm so nervous about my ears. Mine has a temp on it and I kept it between 102-112 degrees because I wanted it to melt and relax. I read online small ears need to avoid Q-tips (no longer ignoring this advice haha) and I will now use Debrox with my auto water flusher regularly. Extremely effective, safe and gentle! I'm sooo relieved and no more anxiety around my ears. Been 23 years of fear and timid care around my ears.

I used a cotton swab to try to clean out my ear after feeling it was getting a little bit too waxy for my liking after using earphones for a while right after a shower, then accidentally pushed in the cotton swab too far into my right ear and pushing the wax pretty deep in. I started panicking because it's most definitely not normal to not be able to hear 80% of what you could before and constantly have my right ear sound like I'm either under water or wearing noise cancelling earphones 24/7.[2]So, I bought this product and followed the instructions. Day 1, I did my first round of carbamide after the shower. 8 drops, 10 minutes in, 10 minutes drain, not much happened aside from a little popping. When nothing happened drastically, I thought it was fine because the packaging had said this was a 4-day process. Day 2, 10 drops in, 10 minutes in, 10 minutes drain, nothing happened besides some slight drainage similar to when you get out of a pool and your ears slightly drip out wax. This is where I started to panic because I didn't hear any popping or crackling like Day 1, so I asked ChatGPT again which told me I had to trust it and follow the instructions, or go to a doctor if I wanted immediate removal. Day 3, exact same situation as Day 2 but increased worry and "I'm freaking out WHY AREN'T YOU WORKING" vibes. Day 4, 10 drops in, 10 minutes in, 10 minutes out, gently flushed with the bulb 3-5 times, and I felt like I pushed the wax even deeper in my ear. This is where I started to freak out for a few reasons. I know doctors visits are generally pretty expensive. I might have messed up my ear unknowingly. I might have pushed in the wax even deeper.[4]I did a bunch more looking around in a freaked-out fashion. Here's what I found out. As of June, 2025, a visit to Urgent Care is $100, then the cleaning was $50, totaling $150 out of pocket. Apparently in January of 2021, it was $35 - $75 total for the same procedure which took the medical offices about 5 - 10 minutes. I only assume from the point I'm writing this that the price will go up simply just because of the health care industry. I called urgent care, and the lady at urgent care (super lovely btw) told me I could try hydrogen peroxide 3% mixed with warm water instead of carbamide peroxide (the solution in this product) and try an ear spoon with a rubber tip. Hydrogen peroxide is a bit stronger and works a bit faster but is also more risky. I didn't do either because I frantically continued searching around on Google, Quora, Reddit, and Facebook forums to see if any of them had useful information which ended up pretty disappointing.
