This "cheap" little Kabuki brush rivals the most expensive brushes that I own (and, at age 52, and being a make up junkie, is an impressively large number!). This does not shed at all, the hairs are wonderfully soft and pliable, and do not soak up an excessive amount of product. It does a terrific job of applying foundation, blush, bronzer, etc. I've not had any issues with streaking or anything. I would happily recommend this little gem to anyone who needs (or just wants) a high quality and amazingly inexpensive brush. You really can't go wrong with this: there are absolutely no negatives on this purchase at all. I'm planning on making more purchases from this line. Also, the customer service follow up is very good: they actually give you enough time to receive and use the item before sending you a request to write a review (a pet peeve of mine is all these vendors who want you to review their products before you've even tested them out).

I absolutely LOVE this brush! It's small, but it's the perfect size for your hand. The fibers are so soft, but because of the density of the brush, it picks up your powder very well (so it's not "fluffing" it into the air as some brushes do because they're just too soft, fluffy). Side Bar: even if you don't use Bare Minerals, I would follow their method of swirling the brush & tapping off the excess - back into the well for loose powder; the compact is a little easier because you're sweeping the brush & can determine the amt of product that lands on the brush.I also like the size because it's portable- VIP if you have to travel. I have some pricey brushes (I did NOT pay retail; the prices on those is just ludicrous! -> I would NEVER that much $$ on brushes!! The high-$ brushes I have came with a deal or in a kit) & I've found that THIS BRUSH is almost as good, if not BETTER than the expensive designer brands..If you want a great brush & you use powder foundation - this brush is for YOU. You don't need to go & spend $50-$100+ on a Kabuki brush (WTH!!??) - it's a flippin brush! WHO DOES THAT??!!) at Bare Minerals or, a bigger ball-breaker, any brushes from IT Cosmetics (granted, their main brush, that comes in the kit is awesome, but to buy just that brush (alone) it is over $50. $50!!! - for a make-up brush??!!! Seriously? Uh, yeah - NO.All you need this brush right here. This palm-sized kabuki brush is awesome!! It is my go-to brush now. So, if you are serious about your make-up or you just use foundation for the benefits, i.e.: with SPF and/or it also contains an extra boost of vitamins to benefit your skin (A, C & E are the common ones used) to help protect your skin from pollutants, this brush is for you.I would encourage any woman using powder foundation (loose powder or a compact) to grab this brush. So I was searching for a brush for my Bare Minerals foundation and came across some hyped "perfect brush" for like $45. No way I'm paying that much for a brush, and a top review mentioned this one, so I figured what the hey.It's very soft and very dense. Perfect for my loose minerals or powder foundation. It's also nice and stubby so it traveled well with me on a trip.I can't say it was life changing when I tried with my Amazonian clay foundation - I already have a brush I like with that - and can't say it would be amazing with creams or liquids.It is a touch smaller than I'm used to. I'm very lazy when it comes to applying makeup. I want it blended fast. The size of this brush takes a little more work from me, but nothing more than normal.The density and softness makes me very happy. I used Bare Minerals over a decade ago and the brush that came with was just hot garbage.This was a great investment at a teeny tiny price.

I purchased this brush after seeing a video of a much more expensive brush. While purchasing I came across the Docolor Kabuki brush. And decided to order both of them since that was the unanswered question. Here is what I found. Both brushes are exactly the same size. Both are made of the same fiber from what I can feel. They performed and cleaned. (spray cleaner on a cloth and wipe) exactly they same. Beautifully! You can use these brushes to do your entire face, switching product and all. They are both the same size. The Docolor brush also fits in the Magic brush case the exact same way. No actual difference in applying makeup. They both work well on liquid, cream or powder.The only difference is the Magic brush is slightly more tapered on one side than the Docolor.Great little brush for the price.

I love this brush so much!!! I've been using Bare Minerals for about 14 years and I've been using their brushes since I started using it. Well, I decided to finally try something different bc their brushes always end up hurting my face after awhile and they are expensive!!! So I came across this here on Dropy and it had great reviews and you really can't beat the price. I've been using it for awhile now (sorry...I meant to go look and see when I ordered it but I forgot! I'll say less than a year but more than 6 months?) Anyway. It's so soft and stays soft! Doesn't hurt my skin at all. I'm def buying more when I'm ready to replace. It doesn't shed, it distributes powder evenly. I mean...it's legit! I say if your on the fence...try it! It's affordable and worth it! I have the black so I can't speak for the pink and green...
