I have a small bunion that I noticed starting last year or so. For this reason it advises to start with 30 min at a time and work up to no more than 8 hours. They seem highly durable and nicely crafted, and I would be remarkably amazed if they fall apart soon. Not very painful yet, but absolutely starting to cause problems.I decided to try this solely as it is Dr Scholls, because I trust the label sufficient to spend $15-20.These are highly comfortable, much more so than the photo comes across as. For me, I can tolerate this "stretching feeling" for about an hour here at the beginning.Not sure it can reverse anything already happening, but definitely seems like it can keep things from getting lower quality at the extremely least. The instructions are quite easy to understand, and the splint itself is effortless to figure out. Very uncomplicated to adjust to fit. No scratchy stitching or labels, and definitely no jagged velcro.I can feel the ligaments stretching when wearing it, and the information guide does explain that it can be uncomfortable at first because of this gentle stretching. The quality of the materials is incredibly solid, and they are very effectively crafted.

Out of all the hammertoe solutions I bought, this is the only one I have worn for more than 5 minutes. With a bigger size, I have also been able to wrap it around the 2nd and 3rd to to "sister" them without having to work with tape. It is also wonderful for keeping 2 toes separated if that is what you need.I purchased measurements S and wear it as noted in description 1. It fits nicely on my second toe with the bulky portion between that toe and the spacious first toe. It is produced of a extremely soft, flexible gel, so I don't know how much probability there is that this item will reshape your toes. The bulky portion can still go up against the 1st toe in this arrangement.At the end of the day, I simply remove the toe guard, wash it with soap and let it dry for the next day. But if you get the appropriate dimensions, it will be comfortable and will offer some kind of pain relief by keeping the wayward toe where you want it. You have to make sure you have the proper size in order for it to stay on your toe without cutting off circulation. This enforces separation of those 2 toes without using something rigid or super bulky.

I put on my recent Kamik boots and trudged outside and into the waiting snow. No, this is actually quite comfortable.As it was a nice day, I went out to do a little 'work' (does Dropy allow such 4-letter words here??). After 30 minutes, I thought for sure I was going to take my sock off to find a purple substantial toe! The outside of the bunion was red; don't know if from rubbing in my boot or if from the new position that the insert put my toe in. The other was built of the same soft gel that these are, but it fit over the big toe plus the next toe. So here's a massive shout-out to Dropy -- THANK YOU!!Go ahead, try these. Most of the time I had absolutely forgotten about the gel thingy between my toes. Spent more than 2 hours going hard at it....OK, hard for me. Another reviewer mentioned that they had to remove their insert after a few hours. I bet most folks will be happy they did!Nope, not done yet. ....Just had to open my mouth, didn't I!?! Finally found these, and the ratings seemed considerably higher than most all of the other bunion products, including the ones that just went backside. Not at all like that annoying feeling when you have a sizable ball of lint that has collected between your toes. They then explained that the more time went by, the longer they could use these inserts and, eventually over time, there was no more pain. Not 5 minutes later I had to remove the gel insert. Did I leave it on my desk next to the keyboard?Got done for the day and was delivered inside. Was it even there? Adequately, much to my surprise, I wore it in the house for about an hour and everything felt just fine; like I'd just started using it. I even forgot it was there a few times. I'm done. Everyone is different, so it's wonderful that we can try things and, if they don't work out for us, we can return them to Dropy. Go residence. Boy, that hurt.Went back on Dropy and looked some more. I took one of these and put it between the two toes, expecting to only have it in for a a couple of minutes. In any case, I removed the insert and all was fine. Commented to the wife how amazed I was that it still was not causing any pain. In fact, the UPS guy picked them up when he sent these today. I cannot attest to that, as I just got these today!....What, you're still here? It IS the large dimensions, after all....suitable?

Excellent bargain. Just remember to remove it if you're not walking around. These disposable toe cushions do the job and can be reused a a handful of times too. Multiple sizes, fit comfortably (I forgot it was even there), elastic enough to easily put over a toe but it won't slip once in place.

Extremely pleasant and stays on the premier of all the ones I tried. Reusable too, just wash with soapy water and air dry. They are also easy to put on because they have a lot of stretch.
