Ok I NEVER write reviews. Especially good ones. But this has been such a game changer I'm hoping me writing it will help others in the same situation we were in.My son is 7 and was STILL struggling over night. When I say struggling, I mean NEVER had a dry night and still very reliant on pull ups. We were considering medical attention but my gut just told me that he's 1. a tad lazy... and 2. a REALLY deep sleeper. He was lacking motivation and awareness to help stay dry overnight. We tried to wake up 2-3 times each night and force him out of bed to go to the bathroom but it was a constant fight to get him out and I don't think he was learning anything about his body or training his brain to wake up on his own...As a last stitch effort we tried this alarm with fairly low expectations... I AM SO GLAD WE DID!!!!! First week was rough, not going to lie. For him, for us, for our dog... But here we are two weeks later with multiple dry nights and continued progress. He actually got out of bed to go to the bathroom without any alarm going off for the first time last night. I can't express the relief.Watch Outs/Advice -- IT'S LOUD. Just get ready. You may not need the one in the parents' room depending on your home set up. Apologize to your pets or siblings in advance... the whole house will be on edge. Even though its awful, parents MUST GET UP with the kids. My son would have attempted to sleep through it or just get up, turn it off, go back to bed. This is critical.- It's sensitive. Just holding the sensor in your palm will set it off if you're just the slightest bit sweaty. After some trial and error, we opted for doubling up his undies - normal undies on first, thicker/trainers on over those. We put the sensor black side facing towards his body in between the two. It's worked beautifully once he got over the idea of wearing 2 pair every night. Think he just agreed it's better than pull ups- As mentioned, the first week is hard. A lot of tears, anger, frustration. But I think his brain finally connected the dots: wet undies = horrible experience of alarms, parents waking up, changing undies, etc. Dry undies = restful sleep and rewards the next day- Don't focus on perfection/no alarm/dry undies at first. Focus on rewarding your kid for getting out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off rather than waiting for parents to come in and get them up. That was the game changer for us. As soon as he started getting praise just for getting out of bed, he started to get confidence rather than feel bad for having an accident. The alarm only works when an accident starts so letting your kid know it's OK to have wet undies and just getting out of bed is a great first step made a big difference.Overall it's worth the money - easy to use if you can afford the multiple pair of underwear every night and some good ole fashion patience. The product is solid, well made and responds quickly to "accidents". It's been a long battle trying to help a loved one with bedwetting issues. We have made some great progress recently using this product. I would advise purchasing the underwear briefs with the little zipper pocket on the front, sold here on Dropy as well. I would also advise using a small amount of dry toilet paper wrapped around the detector unit, helps to spread the fluid across the sensors. The seller replaced the entire system for me because the detector in my first package had a drained battery, which are factor sealed. What a great seller, I truly believe they care about people and want to help make the world a dryer place. Good luck folks, never give up on your loved ones with this issue, it's ruff but never give up.

Recommended by my daughter's pediatrician when she said she wanted to do sleepovers but felt embarrassed about needing a pull-up at night.It's a little clunky to use, only because you have to make a shallow cut into the seat of the pull-up and slide the sensor in. But wow, it really works! Loud alarm with an extra dock for the parents' room. It only took a couple days for my daughter to start waking up before the alarm went off, and within two weeks she was dry through the night and so excited and proud of herself. Highly recommend, as long as the child is the one motivated to make a change.

This is the absolute best alarm on the market. We tried the mat - the one with the subscription - it is not effective (went off when she was sweaty, hard to get dry to reset, the urine takes longer to trigger alarm) and a money grab. This one: easy to set up, alarm is loud, wetness immediately triggers alarm and helps the child stop flow, compact, simple to clean, great support from manufacturer. After 3 nights in a row of triggering the alarm, my 8yo has gone from nightly accidents to 2 in 7 days. (And both of those days she played soccer in 85 degree weather before bed and drank a ton of water, so we expected the accident.) We are hopeful that in a few weeks she will be done with bedwetting completely! PS: Our system… we bought a pack of cheap underwear, cut a slit in the top layer of the lower area, wrapped the sensor in toilet paper, inserted it in between the layers.
