Metagenics L-Carnitine Amino Acid Supplement For Fat Metabolism And Energy Support 500 Milligrams 30 Capsules

From what others say, it's decent for supporting fat metabolism. Mixes well in drinks and dosen't have a strong taste. Just wish the serving scoop was easier to find.

I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better so you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out. This is an amber glass bottle, which I am starting to look for instead of plastic, which comes full almost to the neck, which is quite rare nowadays. If used as directed it will last one month. The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not printing it on the bottom of the bottle!) is Jun 2026.There is a light, not-unpleasant scent to the capsules, and they are easy to swallow with water.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says non-GMO.I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the bottle and website. The metagenics site is functional and informative. It says they have been operating for over 40 years and are the #1 doctor recommended professional supplement brand. I'm impressed with what I see, though I would like to see more information on testing and how I can see the results.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but feel good about the company and supplement. I do wish that they did not include fillers and flow agents that many companies say they need to use, while the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to, especially at this price. The price may seem a little high for one month, but to be confident you're getting a quality supplement from a reliable company is worth at least part of that, and if it helps you meet your goal for taking it, even better!Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

I haven't noticed any change yet, but with supplements, you can expect that they take time to show results. However, O do like that they're easy to consume be ause they aren't too big. These supplements also virtually have no taste nor smell. I will update when I'm done with the bottle, but so far, so good, and there haven't been any adverse reactions.

I've been following a carnivore diet for the past few months and started looking into ways to improve my fat metabolism and energy throughout the day. I decided to try Metagenics L-Carnitine after hearing positive feedback about the brand. While the quality is definitely there, I'm still weighing whether it's worth the price. What Stood Out:+ Clean Ingredients: This supplement is straightforward - just L-Carnitine L-Tartrate without any unnecessary additives. No fillers, artificial colors, or sweeteners, which really fits with how I try to eat.+ Trusted Brand: Metagenics has a solid reputation for quality control and practitioner-level supplements. That gave me peace of mind about what I was putting into my body.+ Mild Energy Boost: I felt slightly more energetic during workouts, though hard to attribute definitively to the supplement.+ No Hassles with the Capsules: They're not small capsules but for me they were easy to swallow and didn't upset my stomach. What Could Be Better:- On the Expensive Side: It runs over a dollar per capsule, which adds up fast. I'm all for paying for quality, but I'm not totally convinced the price lines up with the results.- Short Supply: The bottle only lasts about a month, especially if you're following the recommended two-per-day dosage. A larger bottle would be more practical and possibly help justify the price.- Transparency Could Improve: They mention third-party testing but don't say who does it. It would be helpful if test results were more accessible.- Could Use Supporting Nutrients: This is a single-ingredient product. Including something like B vitamins or Alpha Lipoic Acid might boost its effectiveness and absorption.Who Might Like This:- Anyone on a focused diet like carnivore or keto, looking to support energy and fat burning.- People who already trust Metagenics and are comfortable paying for high-quality, clinical-grade supplements.- Those who've had positive experiences with L-Carnitine in the past.Who Might Want to Skip It:- Budget-conscious buyers-there are more affordable L-Carnitine options out there.- Anyone looking for a more well-rounded formula with added nutrients. My Final Thoughts:Metagenics L-Carnitine is a clean, well-made supplement that does what it says. But the steep price and limited transparency around third-party testing keep it from being a clear winner. If you are looking for pure L-Carnitine and value brand trust, it's worth considering. If you're more price-sensitive or want added nutritional support, there may be better options out there.

I like Metagenics as a company, they always have high-quality products and I trust their supplements to have the best quality so I was excited to order these. The supplement comes in a glass bottle, like all Metagenics supplements, and is for metabolism. I didn't notice much difference in my weight, but I did find these to be a good addition to my stack and will buy more to continue and see if I have any results. It's just one capsule a day and it's easy to take.
