I am not diabetic but I am a sugar addict. I'm the kind of person that when i think of icing on cake or cookies, i start salivating and can taste the dessert before it's in the room. I don't have the willpower to stop at one (or two) cookies. Before the dessert is even near, my body starts reacting to that sugar like it's already in me and i can't get enough of it once it's in front of me. What this product has done for me is take away that salivating and desire. This product hasn't changed the flavor/taste of the sweet food, but for me, I am not craving it because it seems to have taken away that pre-anticipatory desire/salivating. I have a ton of leftover halloween candy and not interested in it. I read somewhere not to take this product for more than 20 months. I'm curious of any long term impacts. I'm in month two of taking this and so far, it's helping me control what I haven't been able to control for 44 years...impulse and uncontrollable sugar consumption.

Doctors are bad when you're 100% healthy happy and not taking any big pharma - because they try hard to make you sick and / or suggest unnecessary testings. Stay away from your doctor unless your life depends on it. Research your issues, modify your diet, exercise and supplements. Get off gluten! Soda = Bad. I feel so good by simply not going to the doctor and taking supplements, eating healthy, exercising = sleeping well. Being in periohmenapause is no day at the country club and I use this to assist in not getting that middle age spread and I do not have diabetes - my cat does - which is why I bought this supplement. I had a "physical" with my doctor - because I pay $400+ a month for health care I hardly use - and it was a well woman visit and the fat woman spent the entire 15 minutes telling me to stop all supplements and that I need a brain MRI. Don't be gullible people - doctors are in the sickness business. Get second opinions. Dentists too! They are mostly bad and out to extract our money for nothing.

Gymnema sylvestre is a multi-talented herbal supplement that can help you maintain healthy glucose levels by blocking the amount of sugar your body absorbs from carbohydrates.
