As someone who has dry, red, flaky skin, I have found out that I have actually been using the wrong skincare products! Because I was using the wrong products, almost everything I put on stung my face or it would evaporate within 10 minutes, leaving my skin like I didn't apply anything at all. I was desperate to find something that would actually heal my skin rather than just temporarily masking the dryness.Because this cream has a thick and dense texture, it grips onto my skin and immediately soothes my redness. This cream is my holy grail. I am so happy to have finally found something that works so well in recovering my damaged skin barrier. The only downside is how expensive a bottle costs and the size! I thought that I would be getting a bigger bottle especially considering the price that they're charging.Keep in mind that this cream is definitely on the richer side. So it is probably more suitable for dry skin types. It might feel heavy and greasy for oily skin types. A little goes a long way! I put a small thin layer so that it can absorb nicely into my skin without feeling greasy. That is enough for me to wake up with glass skin!!

I have mature but normal skin that can be prone to breakouts if heavier occlusives sit on the skin too long, so I chose not to test this on my face.After removing it with a gentle cleanser, the finish was much more appealing. The skin felt soft, supple and had a nice bounce to it, which speaks to the hydrating and conditioning side of the formula. Using it once or twice a week as directed certainly felt like something I would do after following the directions properly.Overall, the REJURAN Recover Firming Cream feels like a targeted treatment rather than an everyday cream.
