So the fuel tank in one of my cars is under the rear seat, and I spilled gasoline on the carpet recently while changing the fuel pump. The smell was horrible and was making me nauseous. Did some Google searching and found a few people who suggested using activated charcoal to get rid of the smell. Well, these pouches definitely worked! It took a few days, but the smell is completely gone now. I gave a couple to one of my daughters for her smelly ballet shoes. I hope she puts them to good use. lol

It's possible that a green pad falling onto the floor between your legs MIGHT be more embarrassing than your fart! As an added measure I wear a pair of thin stretchy boy shorts so if it does fall out at least it's not rolling around in the bed with me. When I moved I used several coolers to move food from one freezer to another. One cooler was overlooked and sat in the new basement for two weeks before we realized it had never been emptied into the new freezer. Yikes! It had frozen steaks and frozen cauliflower that thawed out in it. I emptied that cooler and cleaned it out in every possible way that I could. I purchased one other product as well as these charcoal odor eaters. I believe there were six in a packet. I did not have very high hopes for these but I figured I would give it a try. I started by putting two of these in my cooler, shut the lid and let it sit there for about two days. When I opened the lid I couldn't believe that there was an actual difference in the smell; it had decreased by about 40%. Everything I had done up to that point had made ZERO difference in the smell! So we were headed in the right direction. So I figured if two of the pouches got me a decrease of 40% I was going to add three more packets and see what would happen. So I added three more charcoal packets, closed the lid and let it sit for two more days. I was shocked that when I opened the lid two days later that horrible, horrible dead animal smell was 100% gone! It was completely unbelievable to me that those little charcoal packets worked like they did, when every single other thing that I had tried had made no impact at all. I am happy to say that I was able to return the other product back to Dropy that I purchased, which was quite costly compared to these charcoal packets and I will keep these on hand at all times for anything that leaves a smell inside or outside of my house or car. I have recommended these to just about everybody I know. I think these are an amazing product.

They aren't tiny, but from the listing photos I thought they would be just a smidgen larger. As for effectiveness, I slip them inside the base waste drawer on our litter robots to help catch some of the odors, one isn't quite sufficient. No matter, as long as they do the job. I as it turns out genuinely do appreciate that feature, each one ready to be used on it's own. In case I want to just apply one without the fear of all of them losing their potency as time goes on. That seems to stifle the odors reasonably adequately. The set come in a larger zip style baggie that supports each individual packet in it's own smaller clear airtight baggie that you tear open when ready to use. Still, please keep in mind that we have a lot of cats in our house (7, yes 7. Don't ask how we got here as I'm not quite sure myself at this point). So, for a home with fewer "odor-makers" lol fewer would probably suffice. I work with 3. This keeps them fresh and ready for employ. They are odorless, as assumed as they are suppose to trap odors.
