I can't make medical claims in my review so I'm going to simply say my medical tests dramatically improved after using this. Maybe it was a coincidence or a placebo, but swear by it and recommend it to everyone!

Package was very thorough ei, plastic seal, tamper seal and cotton. They do have a smell to them but you get past it once you take the tablet. Would order again. Tablets are not incredibly big and easy to swallow.

Bluebonnet Buffered Chelated MagnesiumI've taken this product for the past 4 years; at the time of my first review this piece was mislabeled and it took a lawsuit [see: truthinadvertising period org, look up bluebonnet chelated magnesium] for BlueBonnet to change the label. I need to take 3 pills of this a day to avoid my symptoms (mucous and mediocre sleep) and this form allows me to avoid the GI troubles that result from the quantity that I must take of other magnesium products. Nevertheless, I didn't know since unlike the complaintant in the lawsuit this item didn't and doesn't give me loose stools. Bluebonnet makes a magnesium aspartate as nicely, which is not as nice. Perhaps they had a improved legal team when they were signing the obtain agreement with Albion. Not sure I will advocate it to others.--original review for transparency--I have taken a lot of forms of magnesium over the last two years. The only people who know can't talk about that either. That's superior than not getting more than about 50% improvement with GI trouble from non-chelated products, nonetheless.For me, this is the most cost effective solution, with the most positives and least negatives.The pills are medium size, roughly 2cm by 6mm dia (15/16" by 1/4" dia). I need to take 5-6 pills of the aspartate daily to obtain about 90% of the benefit of 3 of the Albion chelated pills; more is not advisable(GI issues). I also don't have problems with stearates, unlike some. But it appears there is a some sort of NDA on that, so we won't know unless someone breaks it or leaks documents. But it is 50% magnesium oxide (and thus overpriced), so I choose to drop one star. That turned out to be incorrect. Since I don't know whether or not they had legal reasons for their actions I'm not going to deduct anything for that. I cannot swallow tablets this size, but the gelcaps go down fine one at at time. They are a solid selection if you cannot swallow pills. If you do, you need to look elsewhere (or you can have your allergy treated by seeing a NAET professional). Albion (who supplies Bluebonnet with the chelated magnesium) makes the finest chelation of magnesium that I've found. I started with powder in drinks (this is the oneMagnesium Serene 800mg-Tangerine Flavor - 4 oz - PowderI liked the best), but note I don't utilize them anymore: they are absorbed superior than elemental magnesium in pill form, but were not cost effective for me. I will probably be looking at other products the next time I order, but I'm hardly going to stop taking the stock I have. At the time, according to the information I could obtain (about Albion who I knew supplied Bluebonnet was the best source and pure). Since the lawyers almost undoubtedly got a payday and didn't force BB to publicly disclose this to their customers in some fashion other than changing the label (surely, customers weren't compensated by the class action even though one of the stated reasons for the lawsuit-harm to consumers' wallets), I'm not particularly obliged to them.As such, I can't say it is cost effective anymore. Oh well.Since it functioned fantastic for the last 4 years, normally it would be 5 stars. Perhaps if I had inside information am pleased with another reviewer, I would. Since Albion was also named as a co-defendant in the same lawsuit and Albion (according to the lawsuit) had the ability to control Bluebonnet's label, I don't know if there was a legal reason or not that forced them to be unable to change it. Interestingly it seems Nuvira changed its information and pulled/changed labels on its products in response to the lawyers.

I started taking AREDS after a visit with my eye doctor about six months ago. While I don't have any major issues suitable now, I wanted to be proactive as there's macular degeneration on both sides of my family. I decided to try these because they're significantly cheaper and they appeared identical to the maker name I've been purchasing. They're not cheap, so I've been taking one capsule a day rather of the recommended two. I compared the value per capsule and these are nearly half the cost of what I'd been paying. These capsules are slightly bigger, but I didn't find them difficult to swallow. Since these are more of a preventative measure, I can't truly report on any long-term effects. I hate waste and I can fit all the capsules from both bottles into one. The only con I can think of is the bottle proportions. I will say that I haven't had any issues or noticed any adverse reactions. There are 60 capsules per bottle and the serving dimensions is two, so you basically get a month out of each bottle. Aside from that, I think they're a great value for what you get and I definitely plan to continue taking them.
