What is the chest clip lock for car seats?

How to install car seat chest clip?
To install it, unthread the shoulder straps from the back of your car seat and slide them through the open slots on either side of the replacement clip. Reattach the straps securely to the seat frame and adjust the clip position so it rests at your child's armpit level.
