Description
Elevate your musical performance with the Aquila Tenor Ukulele Set 13U, precision-crafted in Italy and imported directly to bring professional acoustic quality to your instrument. Designed specifically for standard high G tuning, this 4-string set combines traditional innovation with modern materials.
The 1st, 2nd, and 4th strings utilize Aquila's patented New Nylgut synthetic gut, which successfully replicates the warm, natural tone and feel of traditional animal gut without its typical vulnerabilities to climate and humidity changes. A standout feature of this set is the distinct reddish-brown Red Series 3rd string.
Built with higher acoustic density, this C string allows for a thinner diameter while maintaining optimal string tension, ensuring a smooth transition and balanced volume across neighboring notes. Musicians will appreciate the prompt attack, excellent timbre, and remarkable intonation stability that keeps your instrument sounding pristine through varying temperatures.
Whether you are practicing at home or performing on stage, these strings offer reliable projection and rich resonance tailored for tenor ukuleles.
How to use
- Remove your old tenor ukulele strings one by one or all at once.
- Take extra care during installation due to the unique surface texture and molecular structure of New Nylgut.
- Thread each string through the bridge and tuning posts, wind carefully, and stretch gently while tuning to standard GCEA high-G pitch until intonation stabilizes.
