FAQs
Is there any way that we can train our older dog with scratching pad to fix their nails instead of using dog nail trimmers when they are terrified?
Yes, a scratch board is an excellent tool for fearful dogs. By using positive reinforcement and treats, you can train your dog to scratch the board voluntarily, allowing them to trim their own nails at their own pace without the stress of clippers.
How often should I replace the sandpaper discs?
The frequency depends on your pet's nail thickness and usage intensity. When you notice the sandpaper losing its grit and becoming smooth, simply peel off the old disc and replace it with one of the four included fresh sheets.
Can this be used for both large and small dogs?
Yes, the design is versatile enough for various sizes of dogs and cats. The handheld nature of the board allows you to adjust the angle and pressure to suit the specific nail size of your pet.
Are these products authentic USA imports?
