FAQs
What is the best brush for a matted long hair dog?
An undercoat rake with curved stainless steel teeth is highly recommended for long-haired dogs. It gently cuts through tough mats and removes loose fur from the dense undercoat without pulling the skin.
Is a dematting brush the same as a deshedding brush?
No, they serve different purposes. A dematting brush features specialized teeth designed to cut through and untangle mats, while a deshedding brush focuses on removing loose dead hair from the undercoat.
Are deshedding combs good for cats?
Yes, deshedding combs are excellent for medium and long-haired cats. They remove trapped loose fur from the thick undercoat, significantly reducing hairballs and household shedding.
Is the Auiepet grooming tool sold on Dropy India authentic?
Yes, absolutely. Dropy India directly sources all pet care products from the USA, ensuring you receive 100% authentic international brands in original packaging.
How often should I use this undercoat rake on my pet?
