FAQs
Is a cone or Recovery Suit better for cats?
A recovery suit is generally much better and more comfortable than a traditional hard plastic cone. It allows your cat to eat, drink, sleep, and navigate their surroundings naturally while keeping their surgical wounds protected from licking.
Are cat onesies safe after surgery?
Yes, cat onesies are highly safe and recommended after abdominal or spay surgeries. They protect the incision site from dirt and self-grooming, though you should monitor your cat initially to ensure the fit is correct and comfortable.
How does the cat use the litter box while wearing the recovery suit?
The Avont recovery suit is designed with a specialized open-rear design that allows your cat to urinate and defecate in the litter box freely without needing to remove the onesie.
