Product details
Description
The AVPro Edge AC-EX70-UHD-KIT is a professional-grade HDBaseT extender system engineered to deliver high-performance signal distribution for both residential and commercial AV environments. This ultra-slim transmitter and receiver set allows for the reliable transmission of HDMI 2.0 signals, supporting 4K UHD resolution at 60Hz up to 40 meters and 1080p content up to 70 meters over a single category cable.
By utilizing advanced HDBaseT technology, this kit simplifies complex installations by combining video, audio, and control signals into one efficient connection. The system is fully compliant with HDCP 2.2 and supports HDR, ensuring that high-value content retains its visual integrity from the source rack to the display.
Additionally, the unit incorporates bi-directional Power over HDBaseT (PoH), meaning that a single power supply at either the transmitter or receiver end can power the entire setup, reducing clutter in media racks and behind displays. With support for bi-directional IR and RS-232 pass-through, installers gain comprehensive control capabilities, allowing for seamless operation of equipment at the display location.
Its compact, pencil-thin design makes it an ideal solution for discrete integration in conference rooms, classrooms, and home theaters where space is limited but performance is essential.
How to use
- Connect your HDMI source to the transmitter input and your display to the receiver output.
- Run a single Cat6a Ethernet cable between the transmitter and receiver HDBaseT ports.
- Connect the included power supply to either the transmitter or the receiver unit to power the entire system via PoH.
- Use the provided IR cables to enable control pass-through between the source and display locations.
