  2. Remove one test strip from its individual foil wrapper, taking care not to touch the test pads.
  3. Hold the strip by the clean grip handle and place the reagent pads directly into your urine stream for one to two seconds.
  4. Alternatively, you can collect urine in a clean cup and dip the pads into the sample.
  5. Remove excess urine and lay the strip flat.
  6. Read the nitrite result exactly at one minute and the leukocyte result exactly at two minutes by matching the color changes to the color chart provided on the foil pouch.
