surprisingly good projection
Took a chance on this mid-range 6C cup size on a whim thinking it might not suit my jazz ensemble work, but it blew me away. The velvety core with that bright projection cuts right through the mix cleanly. Super happy with how balanced the high and low registers feel now ?

gifted to my hubby
gftd this silver plated mouthpiece to my husband for his birthday as he was struggling with endurance during long orchestra riyaaz. he shifted from a smaller size to this one and says the medium-wide rim shape makes practice sessions way more comfortable without tiring his embouchure too fast. totally worth it seeing him happy!
FAQs
What does the C mean in trumpet mouthpieces?
In the Bach naming system, the letter designation indicates the cup depth. A 'C' cup represents a standard medium depth, offering a versatile balance between bright high notes and warm low registers suitable for all-around playing.
Is a 5C or 7C mouthpiece better?
Neither is universally better, as it depends on your lip formation and playing style. A 7C has a slightly smaller rim diameter for easier high notes, while a 5C provides a larger feel for a fuller tone and reduced lip fatigue; the 6C sits right between them as a comfortable middle ground.
