    I've always been a huge fan of Banila Co products and this overnight mask is no exception. They're formulated so well and always smell amazing. While the brand sometimes feels like it's marketed to teens, the ingredients in this cream feel very grown-up. Retinol is definitely for more mature skin and is exactly what I need!I'm in my late 30s with combo skin, and a main concern for me is preventing fine lines and hydration. I don't tolerate tretinoin super well, even though it doesn't stop me from trying, so it's awesome to have this cream as an alternative.The texture is super thick and creamy but it still spreads nice and evenly. I actually tried it on top of my tret the other day and it worked surprisingly well. My skin was incredibly smooth the next morning and I haven't even experienced any of the peeling I usually get with tret. It fits in seamlessly to my routine and doesn't pill at all even with layering it over five other products.     An overnight mask that seems more like a moisturizer

    This cream, a sleeping mask, has been a simple, but great addition to my nighttime beauty routine. Which is pretty minimal, just cleaning off face then adding moisturizer. Wanted something a little more restorative for my skin. And this cream seems to be a great one - just as if hoped as it is a Korean beauty product. Which I started to equate with quality. This has retinol in it, which was already known to be beneficial for my skin; and it also has Bakuchiol Capsule - which I really have no idea what that is, but did read it was plant based. And helps with skin elasticity and wrinkles. Which my skin does look more youthful and smooth. I do want to say this is a mask. Which it clearly says. But I was using more like a moisturizer. Rubbing it in and going to bed. Then going on with my morning. Apparently it's supposed to be rinsed off in the morning! I read this later after using for over a week. I guess the mornings I showered, this would've been rinsed off. But the off days I didn't shower, this was left on. I didn't notice anything. As it blends, absorbs in beautifully. Nothing left on the surface as I normally associate with a mask. Oh well. I still love it. Has a soft sweet scent that smells soothing. Comes with a little spatula to help get it out. And inner disk seal. Good way to unwind, prep for bed, while pampering your skin. 3.3 ounces- a bit larger tub than much more pricier retinol facial creams. Seems a good price point especially considering it's K beauty.
