FAQs
Is Baofeng walkie talkie legal in India?
In India, transmitting on amateur radio frequencies requires a valid Ham Radio license issued by the Ministry of Communications. Listening to open or public weather frequencies generally does not require a transmission license, but users must follow local wireless telegraphy regulations.
What two way radio for long distance communication?
High-power handheld transceivers like the 10W Baofeng 5RM are ideal for long-distance communication because the increased wattage helps signal penetration through trees and geographic obstacles. Utilizing the included extended tactical antenna further maximizes your reliable signal range.
