The specialized formula works by penetrating deeply to keep internal hydraulic seals and O-rings soft, pliable, and properly conditioned, preventing future hardening and shrinkage. Beyond stopping active fluid loss, this advanced conditioner actively reduces internal friction and system wear, while robust rust and oxidation inhibitors prevent the formation of harmful sludge, varnish, and acids.
Compatible with all petroleum-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids—including ISO viscosity grades 32, 46, and 68—it ensures pump seals, control valves, actuators, rams, hydrostatic transmissions, and cylinders run significantly cooler and achieve an extended service life.
How to use
- Check the hydraulic fluid level when the system is at its normal operating temperature.
- For normal maintenance, add one Fluid Ounce of Bar's Leaks Hydraulic Seal for every Quart of hydraulic fluid capacity.
- For extremely worn systems, increase the dosage up to two Fluid Ounces per Quart of capacity.
- Do not overfill the system.
- Run the equipment for at least 15 minutes to thoroughly mix the solution with the fluid and activate the seal conditioning process.
