    Chemical Reaction, Face Burned with Bumps and Dryness.

    I have a combination skin. I also used face paint during that period, and it had no reaction previously, but maybe this caused it. I don't blame the product since I have been using it for weeks so far, it's light, has a slight citrus-y smell, and goes on white (when utilized modestly).While the product did NOT cause this, I wished for to provide a solution. My whole face was dry, itchy, burning, et cetera. Please remember my skin is a combination of oil and dry, so petroleum jelly performs adequately for me but may not work adequately for others. The final result was a dry, bumpy skin. It caused a chemical reaction I believe. My face extremely cracked out, which is rare for my skin. It also led to some rather painful tear burns. For the whole week, I did not do my skincare, and it seems to have returned to almost normal.I'll continue using this product. Hope this helps anyone who had a akin situation. It was to the point that even water burned my face.I employed petroleum jelly at night, and my face healed a lot by the next day. It works adequately under makeup, just before you leave, or for your morning skincare routine. I believe I combined it with an AHA or retinol.
