    Gorgeous and shimmery eye shadow!

    This Bobbi Brown Crystal Eyes Shadow Stick is pretty much everything I want in an eyeshadow packed into a super convenient stick. I selected the color Brilliant Bronze and it's a deep brown with some pretty ruby flecks. Against my tan but neutral skin it looks so pretty (though I think it would look great on nearly anyone since the color is quite natural and flattering). It's sophisticated shimmer rather than chunky glitter, which I really like. I wore it with some simple makeup and eyeliner to an after work professional event and thought it looked great. I tend to go for a very natural or "no makeup" makeup look, but this added just a little subtle glam. The shadow stick itself is nice and smooth/creamy letting it glide across my eyelids without catching. Wear time was impressive and it didn't smudge or move until I used a cotton wipe to remove it. Honestly, I like this enough that I'm looking at other shades for after this one is used up (though it'll probably take a while since a little goes a long way!).

    04 Brilliant Violet - long lasting, pigmented, gorgeous sparkle.

    Bobbi Brown's Crystal Eyes Shadow Stick in 04 Brilliant Violet is absolutely stunning. It's so pigmented, sparkly, and shifty that it's hard to capture accurately - photos and video really don't do it justice at all. In person, it's a rich, vibrant purple packed with glitter and an unusual blackened gold shift that makes it feel really unique. I have green eyes and love how purple shades look on me, and this one is incredibly flattering. The mix of purple and pink sparkle catches the light constantly; every time I move, it flashes and sparkles. The performance is also very impressive. There's no glitter fallout at all, which is rare for something so intensely sparkly. I wore it without primer and it still stayed in place all day with no issues. The stick is easy to use as either a liner or an all-over shadow as well. It's so easy to apply for something with such high impact. The packaging is adorable too; the purple tube with rainbow sparkles makes it easy to find, and I wish more products were color coded like this. It's functional and beautiful. I love glitter, but I hate dealing with fallout and eye irritation that usually comes with it, and this gives me all of the impact without the mess and irritation because it stays in place so well. I'm already tempted to pick up more shades because this formula is perfect, and I'd especially love to see something in an olive tone with green sparkle. I'm in love with this formula.
