    One of Those "Don't Mess With It" Makeup Staples

    I've been using this powder for a while now and it's one of those products I don't really think about anymore - which is usually a good sign. It just quietly does its job without causing problems.The texture is really fine, not chalky, not heavy. It sets makeup without making my face look flat or dusty, which is where a lot of powders lose me. I've got combo skin, and this helps with shine without turning everything matte-matte in a weird, lifeless way. My skin still looks like skin, just… calmer.I like that it doesn't cake up even if I go back in later in the day. I'll tap a little on my T-zone and it blends right in instead of sitting on top like I just added another layer of regret. It also doesn't settle into lines, which I've learned to appreciate more and more as time passes and gravity does its thing.The jar lasts forever. I feel like I've had this same container for an unreasonable amount of time and it's still going. I'm careful when opening it because loose powder is always one bad shake away from a total mess but that's what you get when you use loose powder.It doesn't smell strong or irritate my skin. It doesn't change the color of my foundation. It just locks things in and gets out of the way. I've tried out some cheaper powders but none of them are as good as this one.
