Product details

Enhance your off-road adventures and vehicle accessibility with the Body Armor 4x4 Dual Function LED Light Kit for RockSteps. Designed specifically for truck and SUV owners who frequent rugged trails, this premium lighting upgrade provides both safety and style. The kit features a dual-action LED strip setup that serves two distinct purposes.

When your vehicle doors open, it casts a brilliant white light downward to safely illuminate the step area for passengers entering or exiting the vehicle in dark conditions. When the headlights are turned on, the strips seamlessly transition to an amber hue, functioning as highly visible side marker lights on the trail or highway. Engineered to endure harsh off-road environments, these lights are built to withstand trail debris and impacts.

The kit comes as a complete pair for both sides of your vehicle and includes all necessary mounting hardware for a straightforward, bolt-on installation on your existing RockSteps.

  1. Mount the LED light strips directly onto the designated locations of your Body Armor 4x4 RockSteps using the provided hardware.
  2. Route the wiring harness into your vehicle's twelve-volt electrical system.
  3. Connect the positive leads to your door-ajar or dome light circuit for the white light function, and to the running light circuit for the amber function, then secure the negative wire to a suitable chassis ground.

Polycarbonate housing, high-output LED diodes, copper wiring harnesses, automotive-grade adhesive backing, steel mounting hardware.

FAQs

Explain how to wire these dual-function lights?

Wiring this kit requires connecting the positive leads to your vehicle's twelve-volt electrical system. Finally, secure the ground wire to a clean metal part of the vehicle chassis.
