FAQs
Why do goldendoodles need special brushes?
Goldendoodles possess a unique, dense mix of wavy or curly hair that is highly prone to matting and tangling. Standard brushes only surface-groom, whereas a specialized long-pin slicker brush reaches the deep undercoat to detangle safely.
Is a slicker brush painful for dogs?
No, when used correctly with gentle, smooth strokes, it is not painful. The long pins feature flexible, soft engineering designed to glide through thick coats and remove mats without scraping your pet's sensitive skin.
What is the difference between a slicker and pin brush?
A slicker brush features fine, densely packed wire pins angled to grab and pull out loose undercoat fur and break up tight mats. A standard pin brush has straight, widely spaced pins meant primarily for simple everyday smoothing on longer, finer hair types.
Is this Bonteck grooming kit an authentic product in India?
Yes, this is a genuine Bonteck product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources all pet care items directly from trusted American distributors to ensure Indian pet parents receive 100% authentic international quality.
Can this grooming kit be used on short-haired dog breeds?
While components like the flea comb and rubber bath massage brush work beautifully across all coat types, the large long-pin slicker brush is specifically optimized for medium, long, curly, or dense coats that require deep detangling.
