Product details

The Brightin Star 28mm F2.8 Full Frame Manual Focus Lens is an ultra-thin pancake camera lens designed specifically for Leica M-mount systems. Crafted for passion-driven street photographers, documentarians, and travel enthusiasts, this highly portable lens features an incredibly slim 9.9mm profile that keeps your camera kit discreet and lightweight.

Unlike typical ultra-thin lenses that rely on a fixed, narrow aperture, this innovative prime lens offers a versatile variable aperture ranging from F2.8 down to F16. Equipped with 10 aperture blades, it delivers beautifully smooth, circular bokeh and excellent image quality across the frame.

Built with a premium retro black paint over a yellow brass construction, it offers a satisfyingly tactile manual focus lever and precise mechanical movement. Fully rangefinder coupled, this lens perfectly integrates with your classic film or modern digital rangefinder mechanisms to ensure sharp, accurate focusing for every candid shot on the streets.

  1. Align the mount index on the Brightin Star 28mm lens with your Leica M-mount camera body.
  2. Carefully insert and rotate the lens clockwise until it securely clicks into place.
  3. Rotate the built-in focus lever to adjust your focusing distance, utilizing your camera's rangefinder patch for precision calibration.
  4. Manually adjust the aperture ring on the lens barrel to set your desired light transmission from F2.8 to F16 before shooting.
