Description
The Buckingham 601M Mini Port-A-Wrap is an essential heavy-duty rigging tool designed for arborists, tower technicians, and professionals who manage loads at height. Built from robust nickel-plated steel with a dependable powder-coated finish, this compact friction device provides smooth, predictable line management during tree removal and equipment lowering operations.
It eliminates the traditional, hazardous practice of wrapping ropes directly around tree trunks, thereby preventing bark damage and ensuring superior workplace safety. Featuring an integrated eye and tie-off cleats, the device allows a single ground worker to safely snub off, redirect, and control heavy limbs or loads many times their own weight without standing directly underneath the hazard.
Its user-friendly design makes attaching rigging lines fast and straightforward, accommodating up to 1/2-inch rope diameters seamlessly. Engineered for maximum structural integrity, this USA-imported professional gear brings dependable operational efficiency to demanding vertical environments.
How to use
- Secure the port-a-wrap to the base of a tree or tower structure using an appropriate anchor sling.
