It has a bit of bite, but this camu camu powder can be lovely in smoothies...

This camu camu supplement is a fine powder that blends really well in the blender, and while it doesn't blend quite as easily when just stirred into water due to a bit of initial clumping, if the clump is squished with a spoon or straw and then stirred again vigorously, it can be (mostly) dissolved that way, too. The zippered product pouch isn't the easiest to fully seal, but with care, it can be sealed. I intend to transfer the powder into a separate airtight container, though, due to this powder's tendency to clump a bit. I didn't love its flavor solo in water as it's just slightly sour water at that point, but I think that this powder supplement really shines in a smoothie. Camu camu powder has a sour, almost grapefruit-y flavor, though, so if you're blending it into something like a fruit smoothie, I'd recommend balancing out that tartness with a sweeter fruit like cherries and/or peaches for a better balance of flavors. If one works WITH this supplement's flavor profile, though, it can be a tasty way to boost vitamin C and antioxidants in one's diet.

  Great Quality, Taking for Inflammation

The powder in this 8.8 oz pouch of Camu Camu is a light peach color and mixes easily with liquids. It has a slightly tart, acidic taste. I have enjoyed adding it to a smoothie with a little banana or other naturally sweet fruit, but I also find it to be pleasant and refreshing just mixed in water. I usually add it to a large glass of water as the easiest way to be sure I take it frequently because I feel that it has been helping with inflammation. Since adding it to my daily supplement routine for about 2 months I have had no negative digestive or allergic side effects. The pouch says that it is "Made and quality tested in the USA with globally sourced ingredients". This brand of Camu Camu in a bulk size is great quality with a fine, consistent color and texture.
