  This stuff is crazy!

  I got this just on a wild hair cause I had read that it could make you not be able to taste sugar for up to about an hour or two.Well Holy crap! They weren't kidding! This is nuts. Lol.It is pretty bitter just straight in the tongue, but you can also make a tea out of it. Mellow out the flavor a bit. As long as it's getting in your tongue it'll do the trick. And it takes only about a split second to work.The first try I just barely dipped the tip of my finger in just barely touching it. Put it in my mouth and just kinda swished it around real quick like and spit it out. Right then grabbed the sugar and did the finger dip (different finger, lol). And.... nothing! No Sugar taste at all! The effect lasted around 1½ hrs just with that.This could be good for helping break a sugary habit.

  High quality and cost effective!

  PREVIOUS EXPERIENCEI have used gymnema itself for almost a year now and it has helped my blood sugar levels. I'm not sure if this is related, but I seem less "hangry" these days, much to the delight of the people around me. Although the previous brand worked well, the cost adds up over time. I use other BulkSupplement products and have been very satisfied with the quality and effectiveness, so I decided to give this a try.PRODUCT REVIEWI cannot speak to the taste since I put them in pill form using a capsule machine. Gymnema is naturally dark, which can get a little messy with the machine, but nothing some soap and water can't remove. And the savings is well worth it. I gradually increased the dose to the recommended amount and did not have any issues or side effects, other than a decrease in appetite. Gymnema is supposed to curb appetite so this would be expected. However, I did not experience it with the other brand and therefore, was surprised when it happened. I only notice this effect while taking the recommended dose. Other than that, I have not noticed anything "different," which indicates to me it is "working." Otherwise, my symptoms would return. It has only been a week, however, so I will continue to monitor, and update this review if need be.ASSESSMENTEffective as my previous brand, with the added benefit of a decrease in appetite. Probably not enough for me to experience weight loss benefits, but enough to help maintain my weight. But because I do not use it for weight loss, did not have that expectation.FINAL THOUGHTSHigh quality, cost effective, and serves its intended purpose. In the years I have used BS products, I have always been satisfied. I also appreciate the samples they offer as a way to introduce customers to their wide range of products.

  It is helpful with a sweet tooth

  I ordered this to help deal with sugar/carb cravings and I have to say it really does. I put a little on my finger and rubbed it on my tongue and gums. After a minute or so later I rinse/swallowed with about a gram diluted in water. It shuts down the taste of sugar and cravings for an hour or two. I hope it continues.

  Fine piece

  Good product. Good value for the money. But the taste is very bitter. Just chase it with something good. Sometimes ya gotta go with the bad of things to get the good out of it.
