  Talk of good value: ) I first bought Rhodiola in caps ...

  Bought this almost exactly 2 years ago, and am finally using up the last bits of the stuff. Talk of good value :)I first bought Rhodiola in caps and loved how the product made me feel. So, thinking of a long-term use, I shopped for the bulk powder since the price point was way more appealing.Turned out to be a great decision. Bulk Supplements carry quality stuff I am consistently happy with, and, as a fringe benefit, I realized that the 1/8 tsp that is my self-prescribed dose of the Rhodiola powder tastes beyond belief bitter taken as is but surprisingly makes for a very pleasant 'tea' when steeped in my thermos-style coffee mug. Could also be embellished upon the chai tea style. Easy, and I do actually find myself in the mood for the taste every now and then :)If you're not a tea type, just get some of those empty gel caps and you're golden.

  Strong, effective; a little goes a long way (and repeat purchase)

  I've used rhodiola before both in powder and as capsule, and of the many herbal anxiolytics it's one I've found tends to work.My first time ordering this brand, and it definitely seems more concentrated, or fresher, or both, than the brand I'd been using previously. In fact, it's so concentrated, a little goes a long way. This herb has some sweetness, but it also has a bitter element. This rhodiola definitely is medicinally bitter. I can still taste the sweet, but I'm an old hand with bitter herbs. Whereas with the other brand I'd dump it in my tea or smoothie by the spoonful, this stuff I'd say a quarter teaspoon is the place to start, both taste-wise and effect-wise, even for the bitter-friendly. And yes, it is effective, going along with the flavor.My small peeve is that I cannot close the zipper on the bag, but that's to be expected with fine powders that mercilessly clog the zipper before you even open it, and it's a problem I have with everything from herbal powders to frozen veggies, so I just press the air out, fold over, and fasten with a clip.My old rhodiola faded both in color/flavor and in effectiveness over time, so I'm keeping this one cool and dry, but I might even keep it in the freezer as I do most spices. Think of that huge surface area a powder form provides...Updated: I have purchased this again. My first bag retained its potency for over a year, even living in a hot climate. It became an select staple in my tonic tea recipes, and I had the opportunity to use it when working with other people. For some of them, it was an absolute game-changer.This time I've also purchased the salidrosides version to see what the differences might be.

  BULKSUPPLEMENTS PURE RHODIOLA ROSEA 3% ROSAVIN

  Although I have not taken this very long I have take this due to the fact I have sleep issue and can experience anxiety.After taking it a short while I adjusted the dosage and I do believe this has helped me with my sleep issues and has made me more relaxed. I also purchased this with D-Ribosa which helps with energy and I have written a review on this.With the Rhodiola it I found it necessary to mix it with something hot and pour it very slowly while stirring it slowly in order to get it to dissolve all the way. It also has a very bitter taste to it but since I like creamer in my tea and coffee it mask the taste.The first week I used a very small amount as I used the advice of reviewers of what they were taking online.I had to increase my amount but ever so slightly as to not overdue. I am hard core in noticing anything difference and one to give up easy but I held in there and did at first I admit miss a couple of dosages but then knew I cannot do that as then I am setting myself up to fail. So I stuck to it and I started to have better nights sleeps not perfect but I had a lot less and I mean a lot less wake ups which is great and some of those were due to somethings I drank yea caffeine that I should not have done so. So it is my hope to continue with the Rohodiola+ and if I need to adjust the dosage later so be it.I think I am a good place right now plus the other supplement as I believe they complement each other and if they stop working or something happens in the future I will take if from there but so far so good.Like I said in my other review I realize everyone is different and what is good for one may not be for another.This is my personal experience and if it helps then great.d
