Wonderful analog/digital radio!
I own the HD-16 but wanted a small portable with the same features and this HD-14 is right for the bill. I happy with my buy and recommend it. I was actually quite delighted considering some negative reviews regarding the sound caliber. There are also 4 regions for FM and AM so this radio should work anywhere in the world.Fine HD radios aren't inexpensive. It does come with a large external power block, which I don't really plan on using much. The sound, for the compact size, is indeed fair. The "page" button makes it incredibly easy to access all 20 presents speedily (20 FM - 20 AM). I also own the CC Pocket Radio (no HD) and the sound on that is adequate, the HD-14 is much better. The reception appears to be quite good - no problems pulling in all area HD stations. No bass though the mids and highs are clear. The price of this radio seems reasonable. If you read the owners manual you'll find this radio incredibly easy to use. I can't speak to battery life yet.

Don't Give Up! Does the job properly for FM.
Passable, we just was delivered this radio, but I'm already HIGHLY impressed w/ it!! The speaker in this little box is outrageous and the am/fm tuning is magnificent. Those are the only aspects I can tell you about at this time, but plan to update as we use what appears to be a little gem.

Super cool DSP chip radio analog style radio.
Super cool DSP chip radio. With the 9 kHz option, I can use it in Europe without problem; otherwise, it would be out of tune. Great on MW with twin coil ferrite tunable antenna.
