How to use

wide opening and strong material. Best compostable 6 gal trash bag yet
I switched to using compostable bags last year. I do felt that I'm making a difference. I have tried about 4 different compostable bags. This one is the strongest and with the widest opening. The box is compact and with a pull opening. It keeps the bags in the box instead of all over the place. I was skeptical about how well it handles stretching from heavy objects. This bag is really strong as it did not sheer nor fall apart. The seams of the bag are great and it doesn't look like it will rip apart. I can't think of any negatives other than it cost more than the half-thickness bags. I definitely do not have to worry about leaky bags anymore. .

Small Bags
I will make the assumption that these C Crystal Compostable bags will compost. Since it is mid-winter and below zero today, there will be no composting for quite some time here. The bags are small as I have shown in the photo, but they are big enough for the common kitchen compost containers that I have seen for sale on Dropy. The photo includes our kitchen compost container at the top. The bag is plenty big enough for this container and for most others. I have already mentioned the composting problem in winter. During the summer we empty the kitchen container in our composting barrel in the yard and the fruit and vegetable scrapes break down. The kitchen bucket is washed out using the hose outside. During the winter it is nice to have the compost in a bag and then store it in a garbage can until spring. At that point it goes to the garden or composting barrel. The box of 50 bags should last a few winters.

Sturdy. box is easy dispense + compostable cardboard. Green color bags for green things
The box they come in is an easy to dispense box (picture attached), making them easy to use and the box can also then also be composted as a brown thing. I like that they are green, so if you are saving green things for composting you can visually remember what it is. If saving things up for a while you can also freeze your scraps in these bags and easily remember what it is from the green bag color. The bags are sturdy and don't rip at all when lining cans and carrying when heavy and full. They fit great inside a standard office sized trash can (picture attached) with a little room to spare. They are too small for my standard kitchen pull out trash can inside a cabinet, but if using for composting you probably don't need something that large anyways. I think they are a good deal for the price. Overall I'd recommend them.

Work great for smaller bins
These have worked nicely for my smaller trash bins, the ones in my bedroom and office. They work on the rectangle and square bins so I'm pretty pleased with these. They are so thin and lightweight but sturdy and durable. I also carry some in my car because of how small they are so they're easy to travel with and just very convenient.
