Robust molded connectors with integrated easy-grip treads provide a flush, secure fit designed to withstand a high volume of matings. This convenient cost-effective two-pack provides a replacement for faulty stock cables or serves as a reliable spare to keep your external hard drive enclosures, SSD docking stations, and satellite receiver boxes operating at peak efficiency.

FAQs
What is an eSATA cable used for?
An eSATA cable is used to connect external storage devices, such as external hard drives, RAID enclosures, and SSD docking stations, directly to computers or DVR boxes for fast data transfers. It utilizes the SATA protocol externally to bypass the speed limitations of older USB connections.
Does this eSATA cable provide power to the external drive?
No, this eSATA cable transmits data only. External hard drives and docking stations will require a separate dedicated power supply or adapter connected to a wall outlet to function properly.
Can I use this cable to expand my DVR storage?
Yes, this cable is fully compatible with digital video recorders and satellite receiver boxes equipped with an eSATA port, such as the TiVo Roamio, allowing you to attach an external expander drive for more recording space.
Are these Cable Matters eSATA cables authentic imports in India?
Yes, they are. Dropy India sources these Cable Matters cables directly from authorized distributors in the USA, ensuring Indian consumers receive 100 percent authentic, high-quality international inventory.
What is the benefit of a shielded eSATA cable?
Shielding protects the internal copper wiring from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference. This prevents signal degradation and data corruption, ensuring stable and reliable transfers at 6 Gbps speeds.
