    Unscented

    As a mother of biracial children, textured hair care was completely new to me. No two biracial kids hair are the same! So I just sort of started trying different things. She can't use oil products because even though her hair is curly, it's thin and looks greasy very easily. Moisturizing sprays weren't cutting it, either. Then I discovered hair lotion.. I loved it, but couldn't stand the overly perfumed smell of the one we bought. This one is unscented, which I love. It helps with combing through her sometimes snarled hair. It leaves her little ringlet curls soft and shiny. I also bought her a shampoo and conditioner from the same brand that IS scented but smells AMAZING like natural vanilla and coacoa butter. Love this brand.

    Wow! Amazing!

    My daughter has tight ringlet curls (3A/B) and they are starting to get dried out at the ends. We were nearing the end of a cheap curl detangler cream and I was on the hunt for something a little better quality. This was a top recommendation from Dropy, so after reading some reviews, I decided to take the plunge. I am very impressed! We've only used it a couple of times, but the product has done wonders to get the knots out. I used it after her shower (but didn't wash her hair) and the next morning when I spritzed her hair to get out the bed-head knots, the brush went through like butter. It was a dream! It honestly is the consistency of lotion, and kind of smells like "non-scented" lotion, so I'd say that's the only *minor* complaint, but I'd rather have an awesome product with no scent than a bad product with great scent. So happy with this purchase!

    Excellent item

    I have very fine, thin, curly hair and it has taken a bit to figure out this product. Now that I have, I am happy with it. The biggest difference was learning to mix a little of all the products I am using on the back of my hand to see how they combine. I now know what products I can combine it with and am getting much better results.

    Huge time saver (saves money too)

    Great stuff! Takes the place of several products that many of us have to pile on to tame the frizz and curl: leave-in conditioner, detangler, and antifrizz cream. I have a lot of hair so combining those steps/products saves a ton of time and money. Plus, it doesn't take much, (compared to other products, we all know the dime-size portions the bottles suggest are a total lie), in fact if you use too much you will know by the residue it leaves. Putting this on in place of the leave-in and detangler cuts the time it takes me to comb through the rat's nest in about half. On a bad day that means 10-15 min instead of 30. It does not style or hold, so the fact that it has no smell is great. That means it won't clash with the scent of whatever styling products you put on top of it. I typically use Miss Jessie's mixed girls cream.
