FAQs
What satellite radio models are compatible with this ChargerCity mount?
This mount works with any satellite radio or device utilizing a Single T Slot or 4 Hole AMPS pattern. It is fully compatible with popular models like the Sirius XM Onyx Plus, Lynx, Stratus, Onyx EZ, Starmate, StarMate, Roady, and older Delphi SkyFi units.
Can this mount be installed on a textured dashboard?
The PVC suction base is designed primarily for glass windshields and smooth, flat dashboard areas. If your dashboard has a deep or highly textured pattern, mounting it directly onto the windshield will provide the most secure and stable hold.
Does the gooseneck arm shake or vibrate while driving?
The 8 inch gooseneck is constructed with a flexible yet rigid inner core engineered to minimize vibrations. It holds its shape firmly under normal driving conditions, providing a stable viewing experience for your satellite radio.
Is this ChargerCity mount an authentic imported product available in India?
Yes, this is a one hundred percent authentic ChargerCity product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources genuine international electronic accessories directly from authorized US suppliers to ensure reliable build quality.
How does the suction cup perform in high temperature summer conditions?
Extremely high vehicle cabin temperatures exceeding 29 degrees Celsius or 85 degrees Fahrenheit can occasionally impact the sticky PVC suction adhesion on dashboards. For optimal reliability during intense summer months, mounting the pedestal onto the windshield glass is recommended.
