FAQs
Can you fly with a motorcycle helmet as carry-on?
Yes, most airlines allow you to bring a motorcycle helmet as part of your carry-on luggage, provided it fits within the standard overhead bin or under-seat dimensions. Using a protective shoulder bag like the Chern Yueh 30L helps protect your helmet from scratches and damage while moving through airport terminals.
Will this 30 Litre bag fit modular or adventure style helmets with peaks?
The generous 30-litre capacity and pliable material design ensure that it accommodates almost all standard full-face, modular, and motocross helmets. For extra-large adventure helmets with prominent external peaks or visors, ensure the top is rolled down at least three times to maintain proper waterproofing.
Can I lock this helmet bag to my motorcycle while parked?
While the bag itself does not feature an integrated built-in lock, the robust top handle and buckle straps allow you to thread a standard motorcycle cable lock through the bag and around your bike's frame, securing your gear effectively while you are away.
Is this Chern Yueh motorcycle helmet bag an authentic import?
Yes, this is an authentic product manufactured by Chern Yueh in Taiwan. Dropy India sources these premium motorcycle accessories directly from official distributors in the USA, ensuring Indian bikers receive genuine international quality products.
How do I clean and maintain the waterproofing of this dry bag?
To maintain the 10,000mm waterproof coating, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing, harsh detergents, or machine drying, as excessive heat and agitation can damage the polyurethane coating and internal seam seals.
