For perfectly and no leaks
These bags fit my 13 gallon trash can perfectly. I appreciate the tie handles. I tested one out for leaks by using it in my kitchen for two days. I even poured a little water into the bag first day and after two full days it never leaked. There was one small tear from me shoving a box into the bag, but that happens sometimes with stronger bags. No leaks, fairly strong for the type of bag that they are, fit the can perfectly.

Ecofriendly really professional-looking Compostable Trash bags
This is a review of "Cleanomic Compostable Trash Bags with Drawstring (13 Gallon, 25 Units, Tall), Eco-Friendly BPI Certified For Kitchen Compost [As a vine reviewer, I am pledging not to be compensated or influenced by the vendor; I state my opinions based on my personal experience without any bias or pressure] It is not often that you marvel at something that is designed to hold garbage. Such is the beauty of this well-made ecofriendly compostable waste bag, explicitly for composting. The first thing you notice is that the product is extremely well-made and really colorful (in a nice green shade). The eco credentials are clearly printed on each bag and the prominent "compostable" message makes it clear that you can put all your kitchen waste and compost it with the bag. Like all such bags made from organic products the bag does have an expiry date (within 6 months of opening). But each bag has a loop to tighten around your waste basket and I have to say, you do not feel like throwing the bag away! The product is a bit pricey but you can sleep better at night at having saved the planet just a bit more had you gone for a plastic product instead. On balance, an excellent and satisfying product for anyone who is concerned about the environment. All things being equal, with the excellent eco-credentials, this product deserves the five full stars.

Use With Food Scraps for Zero Waste
These bags should really be used by people who compost and want to keep their scraps contained. This bag will break down in the soil over time, leaving no waste behind. As a regular trash bag, they have a much nicer look & feel (they feel silky) over regular trash bags, but if your trash is going to a landfill, the only benefit of using this bag is that the bag will be one less piece of trash at the dump. That's why I think that the bag is best used with other organic matter that needs to be bagged.
