Description
The Coastal Alloy Steel Herm Sprenger Pinch Collar is a professional-grade training tool designed for small dogs and managing strong pullers effectively. Crafted from high-quality German alloy steel with a polished silver finish, this 12-inch by 2.25mm collar ensures smooth welds and reliable durability during obedience training sessions.
Its thoughtful design features blunt, evenly spaced metal prongs that pinch the skin uniformly around the neck, mimicking a mother dog's natural correction nip. A dedicated center plate assembly evenly distributes pressure across the neck rather than concentrating force on the trachea, offering a safe and communicative training experience when used correctly.
Equipped with a heavy-duty swivel attachment ring and chain loop, this collar provides controlled tightening action for professional trainers and pet owners alike. Please note that this product contains nickel and is not suitable for nickel-reactive dogs.
How to use
- Measure your dog's neck properly before fitting.
- Ensure the collar sits high on the neck just behind the ears.
- Connect the leash to the swivel attachment ring for controlled training corrections, and always use under proper guidance and supervision.

Good grip for small dog
Saw this online and ordered it for my stubborn little terrier who refuses to stop pulling on walks. The 2.25mm German alloy steel links seem solid and help manage his pulling much better than a regular harness. Delivery was quick, packaging was okay. Only giving four stars cause the silver finish can show some wear after rough use, but overall it does the job nicely.
