FAQs
Are cat onesies safe after surgery?
Yes, cat recovery suits are widely considered safe and often more comfortable than traditional plastic cones. They provide a physical barrier to protect surgical sites while reducing the stress and anxiety that cats often experience with head-mounted e-collars.
Can cats pee and poop in a Recovery Suit?
Yes, these suits are specifically designed with an open rear area to allow your cat to use the litter box normally without needing to remove the garment.
What can I use instead of a cat Recovery Suit?
If you do not have a recovery suit, options include traditional plastic e-collars (cones) or inflatable collars. However, many cat owners prefer the onesie style for its comfort and ability to reduce stress during the healing process.
