    Peptide Power: My Scalp Finally Took a Chill Pill

    The bottle is small, which is obvious when you look at the size, and the shampoo itself is somewhat thicker than average. It does come with a tamper evident seal right under the lid, which is always expected. I run a specific routine with this product. I use the shampoo first, and then I follow up immediately with the matching conditioning hair mask. After rinsing that, I follow up again with the regular conditioner. After all those steps, the hair feels very hydrated and healthy. Crucially, my scalp is not itchy at all anymore. Considering the ingredient list focuses heavily on repair, the noticeable hydration level makes a lot of sense. The scent is light, but still pleasant. Since the price is higher for this one, I limit usage. I only use it a couple of times a week, saving the good stuff for when it truly counts.

    Aug 25/2025- Update, I've been bleaching my hair for the few weeks and have used this with each step. I have babied it with quite a few things, but this has been my main shampoo for everything and I think that this really has helped. Something I noticed from the date of my initial review, this bottle has lasted much longer than they normally do for me. I've washed my hair quite a few more times during this time than usual. It must be because it lathers so well. I searched for recommendations for a good mask and found a product that arrived a few days ago. It took me the next two days to figure out why it looked familiar- it's part of this line of products. That has been excellent as well. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Original: I've been using this for a little more than two weeks and I haven't yet observed any changes to my hair. I'm definitely going to use it until I'm out though because this does seem a little different than regular shampoo. Perhaps, a case of smart marketing and packaging, the bottle has a clinical look to it and though it's a light pleasant scent, there's a bit of a "medicine" smell to it. I hadn't heard of the brand before but after looking it up and seeing the reception of other products they make, I don't want to give up on this quite yet. If it turns out that I don't have miraculous results to update, it makes my hair feel clean and it has a light scent that doesn't follow you around after it dries.

    Nice Korean shampoo with light scent.

    The COSRX PEPTIDE 132 Hair Bonding Shampoo - Daily Scalp Treatment for Dandruff, Dry, Itchy or Flaky Scalp comes in a bottle with a foil seal underneath a flip top dispenser. I am sensitive to strong fragrances, but this shampoo has a light scent that did not bother me. The shampoo lathered up easily and rinsed off well. It left my hair feeling clean and shiny. I usually shampoo my hair every third day and did not notice any itchy or flaky scalp. The shampoo I received has an expiration date of 4/2028, which is about 2 years and 9 months from ordering date. Made in Korea.
