FAQs
Does a CRC Disc Brake Quiet work?
Yes, it works exceptionally well by forming a high-temperature elastomeric film on the back of the brake pads. This film absorbs noise and dampens the micro-vibrations that cause brake squealing. It is a proven solution trusted by professional mechanics worldwide.
How to apply CRC Disc Brake Quiet?
Apply it by spraying an even coat directly onto the back of clean, non-shimmed disc brake pad backing plates. Let the formula dry for ten minutes until it achieves a tacky texture. Once tacky, you can proceed to install the brake pads into the caliper assembly.
Is a CRC Disc Brake Quiet good for caliper pins?
No, this product is not intended for use on caliper pins as it dries to a tacky, noise-dampening film. For caliper sliders and pins, you should use a specialized high-temperature synthetic brake caliper grease instead.
Is this CRC Disc Brake Quiet authentic and available in India?
Yes, this product is completely authentic and available for purchase in India via Dropy. We source our inventory directly from authorized distributors in the United States of America, ensuring you receive genuine imported products.
Can this product resist water and high temperatures?
Yes, the advanced formula is specifically designed to resist water wash-off and high-temperature sling-off. This ensures long-lasting quiet performance even during heavy monsoon driving or intense braking scenarios.
