Good pen. Hefty. CKRT branding a possible 'giveaway'
It's a pretty good pen, writes well. Solid metal construction means it'll have to go in the tray at TSA; the CKRT branding is front and center on the pocket clip, which may give it away to TSA as more than a pen. Consider painting / taping / removing the branding before you fly.Cap stays put over the pen. Also stays put on the back of the pen when you are using it as a pen.Long and solid enough to use one-handed as a pressure compliance device (ouch-bang-stick), but not so pointed or sharp to catch your pocket or tear skin easily.

Fit for James Bond.
Marvelous pen! Out of all the tactical pens I viewed, this one stands out from all the competitors. First off, it actually looks like a pen and writes very well making it very practical in a business setting. The other monstrosities I viewed will most likely get security summoned if brandished in the office. This pen however looks very executive, its light and impressively durable. A gentle poke from this pen is uncomfortable. Apply speed and force and the CRKT becomes a formidable asset in a close quarters...situation. The paint chipped on the first use. But hey, it's aircraft grade aluminum, not Adamantium. Definitely recommend this pen for MI6, Spec Ops or simple self defense. Check it out and don't forget to goaceoff.com make your own luck!

Wonderful tactical pen, even greater packing. Would make it a fantastic surprise!
I wanted a stylish tactical pen that would make it through TSA. So far so good. I am really impressed with the weight and feel of the pen. It is something I feel I could actually use as an ever day pen without it LOOKING like a tactical pen. It writes well, and the tactical end is no joke. That bad boy is sharp! I would not want to be on the receiving end of that jab! Let's face it though, you will may never need the tactical end of the pen, so the writing element needs to be good, and it definitely is on this pen. What also surprised me was the packaging. If you have a friend, Father-in-law, or whomever that you want to give tactical pen to as a birthday or Christmas gift, the box that this comes in is truly impressive. I look the liner out of the box and now use it for my reading glasses. Some folks complained about the clip breaking off. I could see that happening at some point, but I'm guessing they put too much pressure on it. It's a shirt clip people.... Besides, I am willing to bet you can get replacement parts from CRKT without a problem.I wrestled for days, looking at countless tactical pens, but am really glad I chose this one.
