Description
Unlock aggressive low-end performance and rock-solid stability with the D'Addario XL Nickel EXL148 Electric Guitar Strings. Engineered specifically for players who demand heavier string gauges and lower drop tunings such as Drop C, this extra-heavy 12-60 set delivers a powerful, bright tone and precise intonation.
Built around a high-carbon hexagonal steel core and precision-wound with nickel-plated steel, these strings offer reliable durability and consistent playability across every fret. The high tension prevents unwanted fret buzz on thick low strings during intense riffing, ensuring your down-tuned sound remains articulate, full-bodied, and punchy.
Each set arrives in environmentally conscious, corrosion-resistant packaging designed to keep your strings factory-fresh until you are ready to string up your instrument.
