FAQs
What is the best wrist guard for snowboarding?
The best wrist guard for snowboarding is one that provides rigid impact support without being too bulky to fit inside your winter gear. The Dakine Low Profile Wrist Guard is highly recommended by riders because its internal aluminum stay protects against hyperextension while its sleek neoprene design slides easily into standard gloves.
Can these wrist guards be worn over snowboarding gloves?
No, these specific wrist guards are designed with a low-profile build intended to be worn directly on your hands under your snowboarding gloves or mittens. Wearing them underneath ensures the internal aluminum stay is positioned correctly against your wrist to absorb impact effectively.
How do I know what size Dakine wrist guard to buy?
You should measure the circumference of your hand at the knuckles and refer to the official Dakine size chart. A proper, snug fit is essential for the internal aluminum support stay to properly shield your joints from hyper-extension during a fall.
Are these Dakine wrist guards authentic imports available in India?
Yes, these are authentic Dakine products imported directly from the United States of America. Dropy India sources genuine international personal care and sports protection gear directly from the USA to ensure Indian customers receive 100 percent original merchandise.
Are these protective guards suitable for rollerblading or skateboarding?
While they are optimized with a low profile to fit inside winter sports gloves, the structural aluminum stay provides excellent wrist stabilization that can also be utilized for skateboarding, rollerblading, and roller derby. However, note that the outer fabric does not feature a hard plastic skid plate for asphalt friction.
