I was glad to find this a few months ago after searching for a vegan, enteric-coated peppermint oil capsule - it seems that all of the others are made of gelatin. I take it on average about once a week if I have an upset stomach, and it seems helpful and has a nice, clean, pleasant taste and smell - the ingredients appear high quality.When I took this product with plain water as most people recommend, I did get a mild burning sensation that seemed like heartburn/gastroesophageal reflux, which I don't normally get. But when I took it with coffee, there was no problem and it worked within an hour or so to soothe my stomach. I think I might have low stomach acid and therefore the capsule will break down prematurely in the stomach unless there's an accompanying acid like coffee. So if you have any similar issues taking it with water, this might be worth trying.

I've been taking this peppermint oil for years and it's been life changing. With several autoimmune diseases and other issues, I began looking for natural alternatives to products like Tums with their heavy metals. It IS truly delayed release and soothes my entire system.In every respect this peppermint oil is superior and I keep a bottle handy in every room and never leave home without checking that it's in my purse.Here's the thing: Peppermint OIL is STRONG. This is the pure stuff. There's an extraction and concentration process. It's not going to be like chewing on a mint leaf or having a cup of mint tea.I take this to help with medications that make my stomach upset; at migraine onsets to prevent nausea; on an upset, empty stomach when I have no appetite; and when my stomach wants to reject foods that I can eat (yes, it works that well) for whatever reason. I've never had it produce gas.Absolutely it has changed my digestion for the better and revolutionized how much better I sleep by settling my digestive system. Which, in and of itself is insane, because I have severe insomnia and that's one less thing keeping me awake.This is NOT an antidiarrheal product. It is simply mint.
