FAQs
Are flirt poles good for dogs?
Yes, flirt poles are excellent for dogs as they provide a high-intensity physical workout and mental stimulation by tapping into their natural prey drive. They are also highly effective tools for teaching impulse control and basic obedience commands like 'drop it' or 'leave it' in a fun, controlled environment.
What are the dangers of flirt poles?
The primary dangers come from using a bungee-style cord, which can snap back and cause injury, or playing on slippery surfaces that strain joints. This Dewonch pole features a safe, non-bungee nylon cord to prevent snap-backs and should always be used on high-traction surfaces like grass.
How long can a dog play with a flirt pole?
A high-intensity session of 10 to 20 minutes with a flirt pole is generally enough to thoroughly exercise and wear out an energetic dog. Because it involves sprinting and jumping, keep sessions short and watch your dog closely for signs of fatigue to prevent overexertion.
Is this Dewonch dog toy an authentic import available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic USA-imported pet product. Dropy India sources directly from the USA to ensure Indian pet parents receive genuine, high-quality international brands with reliable delivery.
Can the lure on this interactive dog wand be replaced?
Yes, the fleece lure is fully detachable and replaceable. If your dog is a very powerful tugger or a strong breed, you can easily swap the fleece tether for a leather tug toy or a similar durable attachment.
